Bills and Overtures

This committee is appointed by the moderator annually.

The committee is responsible for but not limited to:

• Presenting the overture or resolution to the presbytery as submitted and make a recommendation to approve, amend or not approve the overture or resolution.
• Holding a presentation on the proposed amendments to the constitution in order to present information relative to them so commissioners voting on them can make an informed decision when voting.
• At the presbytery meeting when the amendments are being considered, making a recommendation to approve or not to approve.
